On travel days where we will be in an airport, train station, or other busy unfamiliar transportation area (especially international travel) I choose these big travel days to dress my children alike. Traveling can be hectic and stressful especially with kids. You’re trying to look at kiosks to find train or flight information. You’re a trying to get bags through TSA. If one of your children were to get lost or go missing you’d be panicking and could possibly forget what they were wearing. If you’re in a foreign country and communication is limited it would be hard to describe to authorities in detail what the child looks like or what they’re wearing. It’s always a good idea to dress them alike and TAKE A PHOTO of them the day you’re traveling. Pay special attention to their shoes, because their shoes will be less likely to be changed than clothing, if they are abducted. You never know when you might need help; better safe than sorry. Plan ahead and keep your children safe.
